Hillslope Hydrology

mountain river

The hillslope hydrology group focuses on understanding runoff generation mechanisms at the hillslope and small catchment scale. Our current research projects investigate the controls on hillslope-riparian-stream connectivity, shallow groundwater in pre-alpine catchments, temporary stream networks and the effects of land degradation and restoration on hydrological processes.
