  • Release Integrated Web-Application

    We are pleased to announce the successful release of an integrated web application for sidewalk accessibility data collection, made possible through the collaboration of the ZuReach team, Project Sidewalk, iNovitas AG and Stadt Zürich.

    We are pleased to share a new publication from ZuriACT, the predecessor of the ZuReach project: “ZuriACT: Zurich Accessible CiTy – Promoting inclusive urban mobility in Zurich through digitalization and participatory research” which has been published in the Journal of Urban Mobility.

  • Transition in the ZuReach Research Team: Goodbye Cassandra, Welcome Hannah

    Since the beginning of March, Hannah Fairless has taken over the research assistant position from Cassandra Zanivan in the ZuReach project. 

  • Data Collection Workshops and Call for More Participants

    Since February, we have held three data collection workshops in both online and in-person formats. During these sessions, we have been training our participants how to work with the integrated digital data collection tool, Project Sidewalk+infra3D.

    Last week, we hosted the final ZuReach event of the year online, bringing together our participants for a lively and insightful discussion.

  • The ZuReach Kickoff Meeting: A Great Exchange!

    How accessible are sidewalks in Zurich for people with mobility restrictions or impairments? This was the central question we explored at the official kick-off of the ZuReach project, together with our participants! At two events on the 30th of June and the 6th of August, we were able to gather many valuable experiences and important insights.
