Welcome Pauline!
Dr. Pauline Enguehard has joined RSWS as a postdoctoral researcher.

Pauline holds an M.Sc. in Planetology from Nantes University and a Specialized Master’s in Photogrammetry from the the École Nationale des Sciences Géographiques (ENSG) in Marne-la-Vallée, Paris. She began working with remote sensing techniques to study water-related processes during her final year of study at the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), within the ESPACE-DEV laboratory in Montpellier. She continued at IRD as a PhD candidate, where her research focused on assessing the impacts of climate change on floodplains in the Amazon basin. For this research she combined satellite altimetry data with hydrodynamic modeling tools to better understand water dynamics in the region.
At RSWS, Pauline’s research will focus on the Red River and Mekong deltas in Vietnam, which currently face complex environmental challenges. As part of the DeltAs project, her work will focus on analysing water levels, flow patterns, and sediment transport, with the goal of advancing the understanding of processes contributing to arsenic contamination.
