This research project was carried out as part of the GEO878 Geovisualization course at the Department of Geography at the University of Zurich. The students picked a topic pertaining to one of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals in order to demonstrate a potential application of maps and geographic information in a web context. The main aim of this part of the course was to create an interactive web tool exhibiting web mapping solutions for our chosen topic. Our group decided to work with the R Shiny package for this aspect of the project.
