23.03.2023AAG 2023: Global Pesticide Complex Sessions

Together with Marion Werner (SUNY Buffalo), Annie Shattuck (Indiana University) and Becky Mansfield (Ohio State University) Christian Berndt co-organized two paper sessions at the AAG Annual Meeting in Denver.

The sessions focused on the changing dynamics of global pesticide use, supply and regulation and featured contributions from a critical social science on pesticides: their production networks, their social lives, regulation and its cross- and multi-scalar afterlife, the politics of knowledge, violence and agrarian change, lively ecologies, and unexamined histories.
