Peter Brotzer is a PhD candidate at the Synthetic Aperture Radar Laboratory (SARLab), working within the Remote Sensing of Water Systems (RSWS) group. He holds a BSc and MSc in Physics from ETH Zürich. His master’s thesis, completed in the Optical Nanomaterial Group at the Institute for Quantum Electronics, focused on an integrated electro-optic standing wave Fourier-transform spectrometer in lithium niobate.
His current research centers on high-resolution SAR imaging using UAV platforms, with a particular emphasis on autofocus techniques and tomographic SAR (TomoSAR) from multi-aspect acquisitions.
