I am a PhD candidate in the TIRLab, within the Remote Sensing Laboratories (RSL). My research is targeting the application of Thermal Infrared (TIR) Remote Sensing to the Cryosphere. The main application is on debris-covered glaciers, exploiting the TIR domain to study debris properties and estimate sub-debris melt. I adopt a multi-scale approach, where I combine extensive fieldwork (my favourite part) with UAV, airborne, and satellite TIR acquisitions. 

I am co-organiser of the Space Café, an event-series where we try to bring together the Space Industry and young researchers interested in the topic. Talks cover Space Technologies, Remote Sensing, Careers talks, and Life Sciences.
