Urban toponymy unveils how people experience and interpret the urban landscape. Sara Racca from the Geocomputation group has been invited to the conference On the sense of a name:
practices of experiencing the public space as a common good (University of Turin, Italy, 06.10.2023), to present her research on vernacular names of neighbourhoods. She will give a presentation entitled Beyond the street. Other names in urban toponomastics together with other researchers dealing with similar topics.
