Research interests

In my research, I study climate change effects on methane (CH4) flux dynamics of wetlands, and their predictors such as plant below and aboveground traits on various spatiotemporal scales. Of particular interest to me are plant root traits and how they can be connected to CH4 cycling. Thesis: Plant above and belowground traits as predictors of wetland carbon function (working title).

Keywords:

methane, root ecology, wetlands, plant effect and response traits
