Your personal consultation – Student advisory service Geography
If you still have questions despite - or maybe also because of - the wealth of information, we will happily try to help you in a personal conversation. We are the Geographical Institute’s point of contact for questions concerning study programme planning, choice of minor subject(s), registration for examinations, crediting of external services from other universities or any other study-related topic.

Do you have questions about subject combinations, career prospects, etc.? Please contact the Academic Advisory Service Geography.
Academic consultations are conducted on site in our office (Y25 K10) or via phone. The student advisory service will then call at the beginning of the consultation appointment.
The consultation times are on Tuesday and Wednesday from 13.00 to 16.30 o'clock. You can register through the registration list for subject-specific questions provided by Microsoft Booking for consultation appointments. Students are kindly asked to inform themselves on our homepage before fixing an appointment.
Do you have questions about module credits, registered mail, etc.? Please contact the Administrative Advisory Service Geography.
Consultations on administrative issues are conducted by teams. The Administrative Advisory Service Geography will call you at the beginning of the consultation appointment.

In addition to the student advisory service in Geography, there is also a student advisory service for the entire University of Zurich. This service can be regarded as an interface between university-internal academic advisors and external cantonal career advisors.
