In principle, all minor programmes that are available to students of the Faculty of Science are open to you. It is also possible to credit individual electives from these degree programmes.
If you would like to obtain a teaching diploma, it is worth choosing your second subject carefully. We also recommend informing yourself early on about the requirements of your second subject, so that you can meet them effectively.
ETH
When studying geography, you have the option of taking elective courses at ETH Zurich, provided that there are no restrictions on ocupancy. To do so, UZH students must register themselves at ETH as Special Students.
There are many good additions in the courses of system-oriented natural sciences, such as agricultural sciences, atmospheric and climate sciences, earth sciences, spatial development and infrastructure systems, space systems, environmental engineering and environmental sciences.

Selectively enrolling in certain courses can facilitate a transfer to the Master's programme at ETH Zurich. The requirements profiles for the individual programmes offered by ETH Zurich provide guidance on useful additions to your course enrolment. Note: Minors at ETH Zurich (10 CP) do not meet the requirements for minors at UZH.
