Zurich in ... red!
Zurich is a city with lots of green spaces, but red in this false colour image. Why? Satellites capture what vegetation reflects, namely the near infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum. Very nice to see in the installation "Top View" by Claudia Röösli, Valentina Tamburello and Isabelle Helfenstein as part of the Planet Digital Exhibition in 2022.
