I am a PhD candidate in the Geocomputation Group in the Department of Geography, University of Zurich (UZH), Switzerland. Before joining the Department of Geography, I obtained a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Zurich and subsequently worked at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) for two years.
Research Interests
I am interested in the intersection of geography, economics and working with quantitative data. My fields of interest include deprivation, political economy, and development economics.
Current Research
My PhD Project, which is part of the newly founded Public Data Lab, is concerned with developing a spatially explicit index of multiple deprivation for the Canton of Zurich.
