The special division Geoscience of the faculty of mathematics and natural sciences includes:

• Earth Sciences/Geology ETHZ (teaching activities with UZH)

Objectives of elearning@GeoWiss

• develop and implement high quality and state of the art e-learning products
• evaluate products during development and use (feedback for lecturers)
• facilitate e-learning implementation (at University and external use)
  
• analyze and test new applications / capabilities for e-learning (recommendations)
• better cross-link people and data in the domain of e-learning (networking and transparency)
• adopt a corporate e-learning strategy in Geoscience (better use of resources through collaboration)

Assistance

Services of elearning@GeoWiss are offered by Helmut Flitter.
He works as e-learning coordinator (50%) for the special division Geoscience and will help you to realize your plans.

Beside several persons at the different institutes / departments are active in e-learning, realize projects or use new media since a while in their courses. They possess also a huge experience and expertise in e-learning.
