Youth, migration, urban nightlife

nightlife langstrasse

We explore processes that can be seen as typically experienced in young people’s lives (e.g. transition from school to work). We draw on social realities of young people in order to understand broader questions relating to social change and social inequalities. Thematically we do research in the field of migration (e.g. on everyday lives of minor asylum seekers) and in the field of urban nightlife (e.g. meanings of young people’s drinking practices).
