Activity Report 2021
In 2021, the GIUZ Sustainability Task Force has completed the following activities:
General
- Presentation of the Sustainability Task Force and its activities at the staff meetings (Mitarbeitendenversammlung, MAV) in May and November 2021
- Representation of GIUZ at the MNF Sustainability Committee through Annina Michel and Maria J. Santos
Air miles
- Collection of air miles through secretariats for 2020
- Considerations on the impact of the UZH Sustainability Policy on our air miles reduction goal
- Second GIUZ Air Miles Report sent to the Direktion in November 2021
Department life
- Pushing forward the establishment of an Organic Food Hub at Irchel Campus from logal agri cooperatives
Outreach
- Several posts in the GIUZ Blog, many of them were also further featured through the UZH Sustainability Newsletter
- Establishing a GIUZ Sustainability Newsflash (sent out approx. twice per semester).
- Maintaining and updating the Sustainability@GIUZ website
