Research Interests
My project here at UZH centers on the urban and everyday geopolitics of Ukraine.
Overall I’m interested in geopolitics, soft power, urban development, and the cultures of protest and resistance. I often work from a micro-perspective informed by everyday life and minor theory.
Aside from this, I focus on mega-events, particularly through the dual lenses of sustainable urban development and geopolitics. I also work on authoritarian politics and practices, and have a growing interest in digital geographies.
