Submission of abstracts is now closed, and the program for the workshop is available. PublicationExtended abstracts of all presented papers will be included in a set of workshop notes. We also aim to produce a high quality publication setting out the state of the art in Geographic Information Retrieval and suggesting a research agenda for the coming years. We have agreement from a GIScience journal, Computers, Environment and Urban Systems to publish a special issue of papers resulting from this workshop. The journal home page is here. We have agreement from the journal editor for a special issue of around 5 papers, and we contributors to the workshop to consider preparing a manuscript for review in this special issue.
