My research addresses issues arising in the production of general purpose
scientific data products for the ESA/Prodex sponsored APEX airborne
pushbroom imaging spectrometer. This work includes operational issues
such as parallelization of standard generic product generation as well
as general research into specific anomaly correction such as automatic
spectral response function retrieval from image data using atmospheric
and Fraunhofer features. Also covered is the parallelization of
atmospheric correction lookup table information used in higher level
products - reducing computation time from almost a month down to
several hours.
