I graduated from the University of Waterloo (Systems Design Engineering coop program) in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada in 1988.

I moved to Vancouver in 1989, and graduated with a Master's Degree from the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 1991.

At the end of 1991, I moved to Zürich, Switzerland, and eventually began working on a Ph.D. in the Geography Department of the University of Zürich. I graduated in 1998 with a thesis on the subject of the generation of digital elevation models using spaceborne synthetic aperture radar interferometry.


Hobbies: Hiking, Biking, Reading.
Likes: Marina, Exploring Switzerland's nooks and crannies.
Dislikes: Arrogant Stupidity.
