The Remote Sensing of Water Systems (RSWS) group is a joint professorship between the University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and technology, Eawag. The RSWS group develops and applies novel Earth observation approaches in combination with process models to advance understanding of water scarcity and its causes, including the availability, quality, and use of water. Our research activities provide important information to define and facilitate adaptation and mitigation strategies to cope with consequences of water scarcity.
