GIScience Center: Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
The unit Geographic Information Systems (GIS) of the Department of Geography at the University of Zurich is engaged in a wide area of research topics. We are working on the development of fundamental methods and techniques in Geographic Information Science, as well as their application in the environment and especially in protected areas.
