  • 2007-2008: Creative Industries Report Frankfurt (funded by the City of Frankfurt Economic Development Department (to be updated biannually).
  • 2005-2006: Regional Learning in the Bad Homburg Life Science Sector (In co-operation with the Bad Homburg Economic Development Department).
  • 2002-2003: Processes of identification in a context of territorial and non-territorial spatialities: The example of labor migrants at the Mexico-US-border (DFG).
  • 2001-2002: Regional Venture Capital Policy in Germany and the UK (with Ron Martin, University of Cambridge; Peter Sunley, University of Southampton, Britta Klagge, Universität Hamburg; Stephan Herten, University of Cambridge; funded by the Anglo-German Foundation for the Study of Industrial Society).
  • 2000-2002: Intercultural interaction in foreign companies: Case-studies of the negotiation of culture, power and space in Mexico (Funded by the Bavarian State Government through the Research Network Area Studies – FORAREA).
