At the crossroads of social studies of economization and political economic approaches, we map the emergence, expansion and also the retreat of market orders. Working on market contexts such as labor, agricultural commodities, environmental risks or human bodies, we put special emphasis on how market geographies are brought into being through models, knowledge, sociotechnical devices, or affect.
