GEO 441.1: Colloquium in Remote Sensing
(Forschungskolloquium Fernerkundung)

M. Schaepman, E. Meier, F. Morsdorf, Z. Malenovsky, D. Small, A. Damm

The Remote Sensing Colloquium focuses on a variety of remote sensing and related topics. Usually, it represents a healthy mix of internal and external speakers. It serves the purpose of broadening the view of remote sensing related topics as well as fostering international contacts and cooperation.

The Colloquium intends to address students, staff and visitors interested in remote sensing and related topics. The format of the colloquium is a presentation (approx. 45 - 60 min.), followed by a discussion of max. 60 min.

The presentation and discussion language is English.

The colloquium forms part of the MSc curriculum and is embedded in the Module GEO 441.

The colloquium takes place in the spring semester (FS2011) on Thursdays between 15 and 17 hrs. The location is Y25-H-92 unless otherwise indicated. Participation at numbered events are mandatory for registered students (non-numbered are of particular interest, but not mandatory).
